I shrunk the GUI from previous versions, but I will try to compact it more on the next release.

Shrink shrink shrink, Think PDA resolution too. Or maybe that is for a web app. Are the command insert methods in the stored procedures too?

Yes, there are stored procs for nearly everything now, including 4 for commands (New command, validate command, insert queue and insert audit trail). The PDA client is currently just HTML and since it has been out for a while, it is not using the stored procs yet. I will convert the HTML client to stored procs in the near term, but have been playing with the Windows mobile 6 SDK playing with some graphical options, but they will be a ways out.

Even without the stored proc, when you click on the HTML link for a command, it just had to do "INSERT INTO Command_Queue (Command_ID, Command_Order) VALUES(command_id,1); So it was always pretty easy, the stored proc just allows me to do some checks like if it is a valid ID and stuff so the HTML does not have to...

The GUI now extends just to where the Settings tab ends. I shrunk the Weather box a little too. This is as small as that part will be for a while.

Something to think about though: The admin client does not need to run on the HA computer, you can run it from anywhere on the network... So use it on a better machine and use the GUI on the machine with the bad resolution, which is fully resizable.

The full Admin client can only get so small, but I made the GUI.exe that can be about any size. I can write the map/graphics part any size. There is also ASP.NET pages for simple interfacing from any type of internet device..

There is work going on for a new web client too...
